Growth Journey Background

FAQ

Who this is for

Who is RapidRise for?

RapidRise is for startups and growing companies in AI, deep technology and defence technology whose technology is real but whose commercial route to market is not yet repeatable.

Do you work with non technical founders?

My value is in bridging deep technical capability and the way large buyers decide. I am most useful where the founder or leadership team is technical and wants a commercial counterpart to shape the case, the deal and the route through procurement.

What problems is RapidRise designed for?
  • A pipeline that looks busy but does not convert
  • Deals that stall after early interest, then die in procurement
  • Messaging that is too technical for economic buyers
  • Pricing and packaging that are inconsistent
  • Forecasting that leadership cannot plan against
  • Founder led selling that has become the bottleneck

How engagements work

What is the engagement model?

I work on a retained basis, with a performance component where appropriate. This keeps incentives tied to signed commercial outcomes, not hours billed.

Is this advisory or hands on execution?

Both. I work directly on the narrative, offer design, deal structure, qualification and the first lighthouse deals. I also coach the internal team to run the system without me.

How long is an engagement?

The Commercial Architecture Review takes two weeks. A full engagement after it is designed to run for 60 to 120 days.

How do you handle long procurement cycles?

The procurement path is designed early: security review, compliance, stakeholder mapping and a proof of value structure. The aim is to remove unknowns before they become delays.

Outcomes and approach

What should I expect from an engagement?

The aim is predictable conversion, not more activity: a business case the buyer can defend, a clear deal structure, a better quality pipeline and a forecast leadership can trust.

What does commercial architecture mean?

Commercial architecture is the operating system that makes revenue repeatable. It covers positioning, ideal customer profile, offer design, pricing logic, qualification, procurement path, sales process and forecast cadence. It is system design plus execution, not sales training.

How is RapidRise different from a sales consultancy?

Most consultancies advise or train. I work directly on the deals and the structure that closes them, and there is no handoff between the person who scopes the work and the person who does it.

Do you help with outbound, or only conversion?

Both, with conversion first. Once positioning and conversion are sound, outbound can scale with confidence.

Getting started

How do we start?

With a short introductory conversation to see whether there is a fit. The first formal step is a paid Commercial Architecture Review: a two week, fixed fee engagement. It stands alone as a useful deliverable whatever comes next. If a longer engagement makes sense after the review, I will propose a focused plan with clear deliverables and success measures.

What does the Commercial Architecture Review include?

A written report covering five areas: your current deal pipeline and where deals are stalling; buyer mapping to show whether you are engaging the right people at the right level; a qualification gap analysis; messaging and positioning recommendations for your buyers; and a 90 day commercial roadmap with prioritised actions. The report is yours to keep and act on, whether or not we continue working together.
